URSCENE RADIO MUSIC AWARD Categories can now be seen thru the site. Each
quarter the nominees will be posted. Artist from all over the world qualify
for
these awards. The awards are based on artist and genres of music currently in
our rotational playlist. New categories will be added as new genres are added.
Each Nominee will be chosen based on the ratings they have received from
our
listening audience. In the event of a tie, we will go to the total amount
of
CD's sold thru our site. 1st Quarter Nominees for each category will be
chosen
by next weekend. This is based on those artist who have been in rotation
and at
the top of the charts for November, December, and January. February starts
quarter 2. Any songs added prior to today's date, and have been in rotation
for
more than two weeks, but have less than 3 Stars will be purged from the playlist
in one week. These awards will define what is hot in the Indie market as
artist from more than 30 countries will compete for the honor and prestige of
our
Radio. The award show will be broadcast to what is expected to be more
than 106,000+ listeners globally, as well as awards given in front of hundreds
in
attendance. Parts of it may possibly be televised.
If you have songs playing in rotation and wish to make the cut it is advisable
that you tell your friends to tell their friends to tell their friends to tune
in and vote for your songs. It just may counter act someone else voting
negatively on your songs. One Nominee is putting y'all to shame with a snippet
song. This artist has remained at the top of the charts with a three song
snippet that was to the artist surprise introduced several week ago.
