Does
Santa Love Your Kids More Than You?
Well it’s that time of the year. The Holidays have rapidly descended upon us.
The malls have started to fill up with the massive amounts of holiday shoppers.
Moms and dads are rushing into the malls to spend that hard-earned money on toys
that will put the biggest and brightest of smiles on the faces of little boys
and little girls around the world. Some of these parents have worked really
long hard hours outside of the normal 40-hour workweek. Some of these Moms and
Dads worked double shifts, and triple shifts. Some of them spent or will spend
very little time with the kids over the next couple of weeks. Some will have to
explain to and/or even lie to their kids about the time they are spend away from
home during this period. Most will go thru all of this abuse and deception only
to hand the credit for the love you have for your children to someone else. I
would like to take this moment to ask a question. Why is it that many of you
will put yourself thru all of this and then give the credit for things you give
to your children, out of love, over to a fat white man that they will never
know? Now I know eyebrows just went up when I said that. I know that some
people just caught attitude with what I just said. Think about it though, you
tell your kids that Santa Claus is giving them this or that every year. You tell
your kids to get good grades. You tell your kids to behave themselves. You
tell your kids to be kind to others. In the end Santa gets the credit for
rewarding them with things for following the rules. All you did was stay away
from the house, without spending a lot of time with your kids that season. The
kids are feeling neglected, and now Santa (A fat Jolly old white man) is giving
your kids something and you are not. This kinda confuses the kids on several
levels. First, I know many of you don’t directly tell you kids that Santa is
white. Some of you even have a black Santa displayed on your walls and
Christmas tree. However, subconsciously your kids absorb Santa to be white
because the one the see in the mall is white, the one they see on TV is white,
the one they see in school is white, and almost everywhere else they see him he
is a fat Jolly old white man. The same Jolly old white man that you are saying
to your kids loves them more than mom and dad, since he is the one that gave
them the rewards for doing the things they were supposed to. All mom and dad
did was stay away from home. This creates what I like to call a “welfare
mentality”. This is a mentality that one will receive something for nothing.
You wonder why so many people are comfortable and complacent collecting “Free
Money” from the state, and never advancing themselves. Kids like us learn on
both a conscious and subconscious level. If you don’t believe you learned that
way. Think about how long you or someone you know thought and worshiped a pale
skinned, blue eyed, blond headed Jesus, because everywhere you went you saw him
that way. If this is still what you believe please see our
Divine Enlightenment page, the May 2002 article sheds
light on this. Many of you teach your kids more about the commercialization of
the season then you do about the significance of the season. Some kids know
more about Santa Claus then they do about Jesus, though this day is supposed to
be a day in celebration of Jesus Christ. Though we all by now know that this is
not the time of year that our savior was born, we can at least celebrate this
time by talking about him to our children. Well here is a just a suggestion of
what you can do, instead of telling your kids about the love of the fat jolly
white man, how about telling them that the toys are mom and dads way of
celebrating the birth of Jesus who was brought gifts to celebrate the coming of
change in the presence of the son of GOD. Tell them that time you spent away
was time that GOD gave you to amass the means to give them the gifts of this
celebration. For with out GOD neither the job nor the overtime would have been
possible. May GOD bless and keep you always.

I once hear it said that you are what you eat.
If this is true, this is very frightening and perhaps the reason why most of us
do not know who we are. What I mean by that is that if we are what we eat,
and we do not know what we are eating, then we would like not know who we
are.
The sad truth is, what we buy everyday at our local shops to feed ourselves and
our children more often than not, is labeled incorrectly, so the truth about
what the common ingredients in food cannot be known by reading the label.
Amazingly this is true of even the most basic things such as milk, bread,
butter, peanut butter, honey, etc, etc.

HONEY:
The process used in making honey commercially often involves filteration of nutrients, heating/ removing more nutrients and adding poisonous chemicals such as:

PEANUT BUTTER:
Commercial peanut butter is degermed (removing the peanut heart before processing to increase its shelf life), and is effectively turned into a colourful brown liquid synthetic chemical slime. Sweeteners such as white sugar, corn syrup, dextrose are added to hide moldy, inferior and rancid peanuts in addition to hydrogenated oil (i.e. pig lard), emulsifiers and texturizers. The sum total of commercial processing including the use of bleached peanuts which dentures the peanuts and destroys nutrients renders the peanut butter a non-food hence a nutritional robbery and crime against the consumer.
Typical levels of ingredients:

MARGARINE:
Highly hydrogenated substances are included in margarine. Hydrogenation oils, such as corn oil , soya oil and others that are added to margarine cause arterial deterioration (ie hardening of the arteries) and build-up of fat around the heart hence the high incidence of heart attacks. Furthermore, cotton seed oil, a non-food because of chemical contamination is also added to margarine as well as high amounts of lard and known poisons benegoates and emulsifiers. The corn oils have to be hydrogenated in order to become solid at room temperature. Margarine is not unlike soap because it is a combination of water and oil combined by a chemical process.

CHEESE:
Commercial cheeses are made by BLEACHING the cheese (so destroying oil soluble vitamins), DYES, SORBIC ACID (mould inhibitor) and vitamins are usually added, and the TOXIC CHEMICAL found in the milk, such as PESTICIDE, and PENICILLIN in addition to the POISONS used in the cattle forage. SYNTHETIC VITAMINS deminerizes the bones. (See. The Cheese Book by V. Marquia and P. Haskel)

COTTAGE CHEESE:
Cottage cheese contains SODIUM HYDOCHLORIDE (which is required to speed up the processing), DIACETYLS (butter flavour), hydrogen peroxide (bleach), COCHINEAL or ANNATTO (toxic dyes), SALT (indigestable), PLASTER OF PARIS cast (plastic hardener), POISON MOULD retarders plus the chemicals found in milk and cattle grass and feed. A Consumer Union study in 1964 revealed DIRT, RANCID, OVERACIDIC, MOULD, BACTERIA, YEAST, CONTAMINATION and poor flavours in cottage cheese. The FDA recognizes the POISONS used but fails to do anything about them. Storage of cottage cheese in shops and supermarkets promotes BACTERIAL INFESTATIONS and SPOILAGE, which goes undetected by the consumer because of the DEODORIZERS used in the cheese.

PROCESSED CHEESE:
Processed cheeses are made by heating cheeses and pumping the slimy mass with air. This cheese is a mixture of low quality green (uncured) or cured cheese, moles, yeast, INFESTED BACTERIA, and RECYCLED cheese of whatever cheeses are around at processing time. These cheeses are ground up, mixed with POISONOUS EMULSIFIERS and other chemicals. They also contain the combined contaminants of milk, treated water, the cattle forage and feed, and processed chemicals. Strictly speaking, it is neither a cheese nor a food.

ICE CREAM:
Ice cream is totally unsafe. It is made from cheese by-products, butter, butter oil, evaporated milk, condensed milk, all types of buttermilk, all types of skimmed milk, milk treated with SODIUM HYDROXIDE and DISODIUM PROSPHATE, PLASTIC CREAM, DRIED CREAM, cheap POISONOUS THINNERS, PROPYLINE (paint remover, antifreeze), IMITATION FLAVOURS (used as flea killers, embalming fluid, leather tanners), INDUSTRIAL FLAVOUR CHEMICALS(have caution and innocous poison on the labels), POLYOXYTHYLENES (cancerous), SODIUM A CARBOXYMETHYL cellulose (a cancer inciter), refiners syrup (a cheap by-product with salty taste and off-flavour), gelatin (which increases germ growth) ANTIOXIDANTS, BUFFERS, NEUTRALIZERS, STABLIZERS and other countless dangerous chemicals. These dangerous chemicals have been exempted by the FDA.
Because of acceptance by the FDA, the chemical content of ice cream does not have to be listed on the label.

SKIM MILK:
Skim milk is stripped of vitamins D, E, K and denatured. It is a by-product that was once solely fed to hogs. Dry milk is usually dried at high temperatures which reduces or destroys the vitamin, decreases the fatty acids and makes minerals indigestible. The nutritional value of skim milk is altered by SYNTHETIC or fish oil-vitamin and contaminated by SALMONELLA. Canned evaporated milk contains non-nutritional corn syrup and / or white sugar, SYNTHETIC VITAMIN, CALCIUM CHLORIDE, DISODIUM PHOSPHATE, and SODIUM CITRATE which are all dangerous to health.
Skim, dry, evaporated and imitation milk are unsafe for children, pregnant women and breastfeeding women, the poor and the elderly. HORMONES in milk have caused FEMINIZATION of males in studies.
PETROLEUM wax in milk (and other waxed containers) has cancer causing hydrocarbons in them which the FDA acknowledges but allows their use.
It is known that in ancient Africa fig juice was used as a substitute for human milk. Figs are similar in chemical composition to human milk, It can double the size of an infant in six months. When combined with dates, figs were used to sustain the life of many desert African tribes. Dates were later used by the Romans as food for training warriors and building muscles.
Who Knows what effect the total concentration of all of all of these chemicals will have on the human body, or even the mind. So the next time your child is not focusing in school or seems a little hyper instead of letting your doctor prescribe more chemicals to calm them down, why not consider what you are feeding them. A simple change in diet could do wonders.

Before I get started I would like to thank those of you out there who wished me
well during my injury last month. I really appreciated your support.
It has now come to my attention thru mail that many of you are wondering what
makes me think I am a biblical expert or scholar. There is not a lot I can
say about it except that life has taught me many valuable lessons. One of
the most valuable was to look to GOD in all things. As the bible states
"Seek ye first the kingdom of GOD and all things shall be rewarded
unto you. Yes it is true, I have no PHD on what is in the scripture.
I never portrayed myself as such. I have however been given a gift by my
Father in heaven to teach. After reading the bible in it's entirety.
Many people have gifts that GOD has delivered unto them. They just have
not realized it. My gift, I believe is to interpret and translate
the Holy Word of GOD. Continued-
As I said you do not have to have a degree to know GODS word. When you
consider that not one prophet from the bible had a degree, yet we follow their
words, why is so hard to believe that you need college. In fact when
you go to school to learn this, that when the closed minded way of thinking sets
in. Look how many pastors, priest, and reverends actually do have a degree
and are leading people into damnation. As a Rastafarian my father above
teaches me the word. GOD reads the bible with me. If something I
said offends you perhaps something you are doing is wrong. I do not point
the finger at anyone in any writings I have done. The bible teaches us
"Judge not, lest yeself be judged". May GOD bless and keep each
of you and may his word sink in divinely. Peace and Blessings!!!

Family Values:
Why is it that in the black family there are those that will wait for and even in some cases hope for failure with those in the family that are doing positive things? There once was a time that black families worked together. Now when I say family the word is not limited to the immediate family (mom, dad, sis, and bro). The word family in lots of Non-Europeanized cultures includes anyone that consistently provides direct influence in ones life. There was a time when people believed as the old saying goes "That it took a village to raise a child." However, today in many families it is the old "Crabs in a barrel" theory that is played out repeatedly, you know "the one on the bottom trying to pull down the ones on the top". Are they really trying to pull them down or are they trying to put themselves on top by assuring that there will always be some that are lower than them? Either way you look at it if they all worked together to get one to the top, then the one on top can help to pull the others up until no one was at the bottom of the barrel. This way they will all be successful.
Well many black families
need to examine this same principle. Instead of knocking the family member who
is trying to succeed in business, career goals, sports etc. They should work to
help that one become successful. Once he, she, or they are successfully on top,
he, she, or they can help to pull the others up. In some cultures, especially
the Asian Cultures, families will save money to send one member to the U.S. to
start business. Once the business brings a profit they will bring over the
next member. They will work together to bring another and another until
they are all over in the U.S. Why is that in some black families the
failures of members in the family are projected onto those in the family who are
being successful. This in turn can some times lead to the failure of a person
who otherwise had potential for a tremendous future ahead. In the end when that
person becomes a failure, those who contributed to the failure contently
proclaim the "I told you so’s". These same people are happy with feeling like a
winner by saying someone will fail and seeing it happen. The truth of the matter
is that in the grand scheme of your own family you just added another failure to
the record of accomplishments.

May 2002 Commentary
Take A Number
As many of you may have seen already, I have a pretty
different way looking at life. Most people see things as they are and find
themselves baffled with questions of why. Why are things the way they are, why
did this have to happen to me, etc. I on the other hand will see things as they
should be and ask Why Not? Why can’t we stick together as a race? Why can’t
we learn not to covet materialistic things so much? A wise and very dear woman
once said to me that, "it seems as if people in what we consider third
world countries, or those we consider poor have better values than those that
are considered wealthy and upper middle class. Those so-called poor people are
closer to GOD, they love their families more, they make more time for their
children, and generally they are the most monogamous." To me those things
are obtainable wealths that can never be taken away. We all for the most part
play a great role, and allow the role to be played in the destruction of our own
people. Too often we sit back and let things happened because it would not be
popular to stand against them, or we might not make the money if we don’t go
with the flow. It is those materialistic things that we covet so dearly that
lures us further from the light of truth and righteousness. Now I will try not
to turn this into a spiritual lecture. That is what we now have the Devine
Enlightenment page for. I will try to keep this one on the self-enlightenment
tip. It is funny how others in this world try to use the things we fear most to
control us. They use our fear of losing popularity. They use our fear of
imprisonment, if we stand up for our own rights or what we believe, against us.
They will even use our fear of death to control us. The truth of the matter is
where in this entire world is any one ever safe from death. It is the one thing
that is guaranteed to each of us. So why are we so afraid of it. I personally
would rather die on my feet standing up for what I believe, than to sit down and
live as a coward. About imprisonment, if they are using these or any other
things to control you, then you are already imprisoned. So what can they take
from you that they have not already. The right thing is seldom ever the most
popular thing. So why do we allow peer pressure to guide us. If I were remotely
concerned about any of those things then I would never have even started this
writing thing. When it comes to making a difference many of us will turn our
backs. Can you imagine a world where our people in the 50’s and 60's turned
their backs and not deal with the issues? Imagine where we would be today.
Shamefully, we are in a time where no one cares. If you allow them to control
you, the path you take will never be your own. I am reminded of a story I
once heard. The story talked about a teacher who wanted to really drill a life
lesson into the students in his class. The teacher had a large empty Jar and he
took some rocks and filled the jar with them. He then held up the jar and asked
his class if the Jar was full. The students all looked at the jar and agreed
that the jar was full. The teacher than took the jar and he poured sand into the
jar, and eventually the sand started to sink into the spaces between the stones
in the jar. Eventually, the sand reached the rim of the jar. The teacher then
held up the jar and asked once more if the jar was full. Again, the students all
looked at the jar and agreed that the jar was full. The teacher then took a full
cup of water and began pouring it into the jar and before long the cup was empty
and not a drop of water had spilled outside of the jar. He then held up the jar
and once again he asked is the Jar full. The students all looked at the jar and
this time were amazed but had to agree that the jar was full. The teacher said
let us examine this. Let’s look at this jar as your life. The rock represents
our foundation, or things that really matter in life like family, heritage, and
health. We will look at the sand as the smaller things that don’t count so
much, but we all add them to our lives out of what we look at as happiness. The
sand represents things like the cars, money, fancy clothes, the house, and other
material things. We will look at the water as the Spirit of GOD. Without the
rocks life like the jar would be empty, even if you added the same amount of
sand (material possessions), but without the sand if you added the same amount
of rocks (foundation) life like the jar is for the most part full. Regardless of
how much of Rocks or Sand we added to the jar there is always room for the
water. In fact the jar would have never truly been full until it was added. Much
like our lives are never truly full until we add the spirit of GOD. Just as the
water did in this jar, the spirit of GOD will seep all the way down to the very
foundation of our lives. We should allow him to touch everything we include in
our lives, just as the water touched everything in the jar. This includes
even those things that are hidden away by the sand.
Take a minute to just consider how precious a life is? How difficult a life is to create? I know some of you say it is easy, you just lay down with some one and nine months later you have a baby. Creating life is a lot more difficult than that when you think of the development stages from the egg to the newborn baby. There is a lot of work involved. So why is it that we so easily and loosely flirt with losing it. So many things we do carelessly put our lives and others lives at risk. It’s time we all take a vow to do what’s right. It’s time we ban together and stop the slaughter of our children. Brothers it’s time we put an end to the disrespect and dishonor of our most valuable resource, the Black Woman. Let’s help to put an end to the destruction of a young mind thru the use of drugs and alcohol. Let’s build up a population of great thinkers, people who achieve great things thru thoughtfulness and spirituality. Sisters, its time you stop thinking that every man is a destroyer of your virtuousness. Not all men are dogs! There are some good brothers out there. You just have to stop choosing out of loneliness and allow GOD to guide you. It’s funny how we will order something from a catalog or on TV, that we can buy from the store immediately, and wait "four to six" weeks for delivery. However, when we ask GOD to help us, we try to resolve things ourselves ten minutes after asking for his help. Yes, when you worry over something after handing it over to GOD you are taking it right back out of his hands. Your faith should allow you to believe that he will deliver without your intervention. How is it that we can wait four to six weeks for United Parcel Services, but when we pray to GOD the very next day we ask "where are my blessings?" You have to realize that at the exact moment that you were praying, there were probably several million people praying for things also. Just like everything else sometimes you have to wait in line. So "Take A Number", and wait your turn.

You know it is both amazing and frightening to me how we as a people, ethnicity,
race, or what ever you choose to call us as a unity can sit back and allow the
things that go on in our communities to happen the way we have allowed. If
we go into a store and were treated unfairly, we will complain to the stores
employees or to the manager and if there was no satisfactory resolve we will
just say we will not visit that store again. We then will go and talk
about the experience to a select group of friends. Those friends are
usually in no more of a position to do anything about the incident than we were
in the store. In fact we, as an individuals, will not even be missed from
the total profits of that store. If a person of the "other"
ethnic backgrounds was treated unfairly they don't stop at complaints in the
store. They will complain all the way up to the company's board of
directors. If that does bring about quick resolution they will complain in
court or even protest until a change is made.
In February we told the story of the way a Texas based company dishonored the name of Dr. Martin Luther King. We even made mention of how their Public Relations person said that "No one took the award serious so therefore most blacks will forget about it (the screw up) in a couple of weeks!" We even made mention of a concerted effort to make the company apologize and at least get a positive gain for the black community. More than 465 viewers visited URSCENE Entertainment last month. 111 of them took the time to read the article. Only 10 of them actually decided to post their opinion to help us make a difference. It is a sad commentary to say, but less 2% of you even give a damn about the current events of our times, or even making a difference in the world that our future generations will deal with. There was a time when we actually cared enough about our race to stand up. Now I can actually see why "they" look at us the way they do. I can see why our youth do the things they do. When we as a people send out the message that we don't care. What comes back to us is 10 times worse than the thing we turned our back on. As history has taught us so many times, "those that don't stand for something will fall for anything."

Commentary:
Here is a question for you all. Why is it that the people this country has
labeled as minorities, the same people that you see the greater numbers of almost
everywhere you go in this country? Why is it that those they consider the
majority the people you see the least? Could it be for the same reason
that when you look at a Map or a Globe all the countries that people of
color are indigenous appear smaller than those they are not indigenous.
Case in point look at a map that shows both the U.S. and Africa. Why is it
that Africa a continent with dozens of Countries, and that the can hold the US
more than 5 times over, appear smaller than the U.S.A. kinda makes you
wonder what lesson our children take from this.
I got another question
that is as serious as cancer!!!
Why is it that a store that boast a sign outside that reads:
"We Care About Our Community!",
The same store that when you get inside has a sign that reads refreshments
and Under that same sign has
only one Refrigerator full of Juices and milk,
one Refrigerator full of sodas, and six refrigerators full of Alcohol?
I guess the four napkins they gave me with my over priced pastry was their way
of expressing care.
Why is it that Malt Liquor commercials are
aired at least twice every hour on radio stations whose audience is made up
largely of People of color.
While the "other" stations air them only once a day, usually late at
night, when no one is listening?
They generally air items with low Alcohol content during the day.
Like Corona, Miller Lite, etc.
The Next time you are
cracking open your "forty", take a look at the seal on the label, and

What should be visibly noticeable about the penny is that Lincoln is the only president ever printed on a coin facing the other direction.
Why?: Because he was credited with freeing the slaves. Presidents as chiefs of office follow military protocols. In the past when someone was "drummed out of the Military" in disgrace or dishonor,
So here is another question for you!
If they will turn their backs on one of their own for freeing the slaves, what makes you think they will do anything for you as a former slave?
